Terms of use

These terms cover your use of GameNotes, a team app for youth hockey run by Flying V Labs in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account you agree to them. If you're signing up for a child, you agree on their behalf and confirm you're their parent or guardian.

Accounts

• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Players under 18 use GameNotes through an account a guardian creates or invites them to.
• Team managers and coaches may only add people who are really on their team, and must remove anyone who leaves.

What you post

• You keep ownership of what you add: notes, photos, film and plans. You let us store and show it to the people it's shared with, which is what GameNotes needs to work.
• Only post film and photos you have the right to share, and respect a family's choice to opt their player out of team film. Managers can see who has opted out.
• Be decent. No harassment, no sharing another family's information outside the team, no attempts to get at data you weren't given.

HockeyIQ and imports

HockeyIQ recaps and the schedule, roster and scoresheet imports are produced by AI. They suggest; a person checks them before anything is saved or shared. They can be wrong, so the official league record always wins.

The service

• League schedules are read from public league sites and can be late or change. Always confirm game times with your team.
• We work to keep GameNotes available and your data safe, but it's provided as is. We may change or stop features, and we'll give notice before removing anything your team relies on.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using GameNotes, such as a missed game.

Ending

You can stop using GameNotes and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
